The main difference between the Patrol R Gen.2 sneakers and the previous generation is the redesigned sole tread, which improves traction on any surface while maintaining flexibility. M-Tac Patrol R Gen.2 tactical sneakers are made from suede (natural Italian hydrophobic leather) and original Cordura 1000D — high-quality and durable materials that offer protection against mechanical damage and ensure long-term wear. These materials also provide water resistance, breathability, and abrasion resistance, which are crucial for training, off-road movement, and intensive physical activity. The toe and heel areas of the sneakers are reinforced with leather, additionally rubberized using a special technology, which increases durability. The main (structural) insole is made from dense non-woven material that does not deform when exposed to moisture, is strong, wear-resistant, eco-friendly, and retains its shape. The sole attachment method is vacuum-thermal bonding. This means it is not stitched at the connection point to the shoe, which provides additional protection against moisture penetration. The upper layer of the sole is made of polyurethane, which has shock-absorbing properties, reduces impact loads, and makes the sole lighter with better thermal insulation.
